With sadness, we, the family of Theresa Mary Macaulay, regret to announce her passing on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, surrounded by her loving family.
Daughter of the late Art and Eva (McIntyre) Arsenault, she was born August 26, 1950, and raised in MacAdam, N.B.
Theresa was a kind and caring person who was loved by everyone who knew her. Her family, especially her five grandchildren, was her world.
Theresa is survived by her best friend and husband of 42 years, George; sons, Mark (Kimberly), Vernon, B.C. and Scott (Michelle), Howie Centre; grandchildren, Maddex and Fraser, B.C. and Cate, Jena and Carter, Howie Centre. She is also survived by many extended family members and close friends, all of whom she cherished. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
