HARVEY, Thérèse Josepha – Age 78, of Yarmouth, passed away on March 16th, 2016 at the Meadows Home for Special Care in Yarmouth with her two loving daughters by her side. Born in St. Pierre et Miquelon, France on March 24, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Gaston and Jeanne (Zavala) Vidal and her stepmother, Christiane (Purchase) Vidal. Therese was a housekeeper at Saint Ambrose Rectory. She is survived by her children, Carol Ann Bullerwell, Yarmouth and Chris (David) King, Gavelton; grandson, Colton King; sister, Raymonde Dutin, St. Pierre et Miquelon, France. She was predeceased by her husband, Rosaire Martial Harvey; daughter, baby Claire Harvey; son, Maurice Harvey; sisters, Marie Busnot and Jeanne Leveque. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth where a visitation was held from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, March 18th, with prayers at 8 p.m. A funeral mass was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Saint Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Henry Smolenaars officiated. A burial was held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery after the funeral. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Alzhimers Association of Nova Scotia or the Canadian Paraplegic Association.
