It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Theresa Lillian 'Lil' Marsh, age 74, on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Northside General Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in North Sydney, Theresa was the daughter of the late Frederick and Leona (LeMoine) Scott.
She is survived by her four children Theresa, Scottie, Michael and Audley, a number of grandchildren, her six sisters, Madeline Thorne, Debbie Scott, Maureen Scott, Janet Rogers, Edie Parker and Gertrude Kelly and her two brothers, Dennis and Freddie Scott, many nieces and nephews and special friend, John Hatfield.
She was predeceased by two children in infancy; special companion, Job Organ; sisters, Mary MacKeigan and Jean Scott; brothers, Thomas, Raymond and George Scott and a brother in infancy.
Special thanks to Dr. Peter Poulos, VON, palliative care and the Northside Homemakers for the care shown to Theresa during her illness.
There will be no visitation or service by request. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Sydney, at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney.
