Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Friday, March 18, 2016. Phyllis Murphy, aged 88 years. Predeceased by her husband William F. Murphy; her parents Lloyd and Fannie Cox; parents-in-law James and Mary Murphy; brothers Eric Cox (Kay) and Freddie Cox (as a child); sister Hazel Cluny (Fred) as well as her brothers and sisters-in-law. Leaving to mourn her daughter Linda Mahoney; grandson Christopher Mahoney (Fiancé Yvonne Tremblett); great granddaughter Taylor Lynn Mahoney; granddaughter Joanne Parkinson (Ian) Victoria, B.C.; great grandsons Gavin and Logan Parkinson; sister-in-law Cynthia Murphy; special son-in-law Garry Mahoney (Heather); special nieces Daphne and Denise; lifelong friends Cyril and Betty Squires as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other neighbors and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church.
