It is with great sadness that the family of the late Phyllis June Linfield (Nee Hudson) announces her passing on March 18th, 2016, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, at the age of 76 years. Phyllis is predeceased by her parents Hubert & Lillian (Loveys) Hudson, Sister Peggy, sister-in-law Marguerite Parsons, & brother-in-law Frank Young. She is survived by her husband John, son Dana (Veronica), grandsons Victor, Drake, & Ryker, son John (Karen), sister Robin (Winston) Rideout, brothers Guy (Joan), & Wilson (Edna), sisters-in-law Jeannie Young, & June (Bill) Wrixon, & brothers-in-law Howard (Ruth) Linfield, Derek (Helen) Linfield, & Stan Parsons. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family & friends. The family will be receiving family & friends at Barrett's Funeral Home on Hamilton Avenue, St. John's, NL, on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016, form the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the Funeral service will take place from on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016, at 9:30: am. With the burial to follow at the United Church Cemetery, on Bauline Line, in Portugal Cove. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA or The Canadian Red Cross Society in Phyllis memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
