Date de décès : 25 mars 2016
With heavy hearts we regretfully announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of Francis J. Mullowney, age 54 years, at his residence on March 25, 2016. Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Dorothy (nee Vickers) Mullowney; brothers "little" Bernie and Derrick (Roxanne) Mullowney. Frankie leaves behind his pride and joy, his two children Brant Williams (Maggie), and Gillian Williams (Joseph). Frankie is also lovingly remembered by his brothers Harold (Sharon), and Wade (Mary); sisters Karen Ann Denine (Bobby), Romona Tobin (Bren); godfather Eric Maloney (Maureen); close cousin and friend Chris Maloney (Heather); mother of his children Sheryl Williams; and a special friend Shelley Sauder. Also leaving to mourn are his nieces, nephews, extended family, numerous close friends and work colleagues all of which remained close to his heart. Born and raised in Bay Bulls, Newfoundland, Frankie was the definition of a hard worker, from fishing the cold waters around Newfoundland to labouring and paving in the western provinces, all while making friends wherever he went. He was modest, grateful and always willing to help out when he could and put others before himself. Frankie truly lived by his philosophy "It's nice to be nice." Visitation to be held at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Thursday, March 31st at 10 am, in Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church, Bay Bulls with internment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Loretta R.C. Cemetery, Bay Bulls. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Frankie may be made to the Bay Bulls Cemetery Committee, a preservation effort that was near and dear to his heart.
