Betty Middleton

MIDDLETON, BETTY
Betty Middleton passed away unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, March 28. She was born on January 22, 1941 in Saint John to Robert and Ethel (Tayler) Long.
Betty was a devoted daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved spending time with her most precious treasures - her family and friends.
After graduation Betty was employed with the Bank of Nova Scotia, and in later years she retired from Centracare. She enjoyed her careers, and she always had a smile and a kind word for her co-workers. Betty truly was a kind, generous and caring person.
Leaving to mourn are her children Mark Middleton (Deedee) and Sharon Jacques (John) both of Rothesay, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, cousins, and many dear friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Road (634-1701). In keeping with Betty’s wishes there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held for immediate family. Family and friends are invited to attend an open house in Betty’s honour, to be held Friday, April 1 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at 198 Gondola Point Road.
Donations in Betty’s memory may be made to the IWK or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
