DILL, DORIS
Doris Elizabeth Dill, 93, of Sussex Corner, passed away on Thursday March 24, 2016 at the Sussex Health Centre. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late George and Katherine (nee Mosher) Hatfield, and the loving wife of the late Raymond Dill who passed away in 2000.
She was a school teacher for many years and was also a member of St. Paul’s United Church and the UCW. Doris was involved with the Hospital Auxiliary for many years.
Doris is survived by her daughter Laurie Graham (Bruce) of Sussex and her son Robert Dill (Sharon) of Ottawa, ON; her sister Joyce Mundee of Saint John; her four grandchildren: Andrew Graham, Heather McLeod (Jeff), Mark Dill (Jessica), and Krista Forrest (Ed); her six great-grandchildren: Taylor Forrest, Morgan Forrest, Emma Graham, Hannah Graham, Nathan McLeod, and Sydney McLeod; as well as by many extended family members and friends.
Besides her parents and her husband, Doris was predeceased by her sisters: Connie Morrison and Amy Purssell; her brothers: Gordon and Donald Hatfield.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, NB (506-433-2133). A funeral service for Doris will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s United Church, Sussex, with Rev. Scott Hillier presiding. Interment will be held in the Hampton Cemetery.
