Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Palliative Care Unit, St. John's, on March 27, 2016, following a courageous battle with cancer, Stephen "Steve" Nolan of St. Mary's, aged 72 years. Predeceased by his parents Ned and Bride Nolan, sons Eddie and Scott; sisters: Madonna, Violet and Rita. Stephen will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 52 years, Nattie (née Rose); children: Yvette, Yvonne (Robert) and Stephen (Amanda), daughter-in-law Janet; grandchildren: Devin, Jonah, Andrew, Ryan, Jacob, Robyn, Amy, and Lucas; sisters: Margaret Phelan, Annie Power, Isabel Del Bianco and Irene Reiter and a large circle of family and friends, to many of whom he was known as "Beaver." Cremation has taken place. Visitation to take place at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's on Saturday, April 2, from 10 am - 4 pm and 6-9 pm. Inurnment to take place in June.
