LASKEY, GORDON ARTHUR JR.
Gordon A. Laskey Jr. passed away peacefully on March 26, 2016 at the S.J.R,H. with his loving family by his side. Born in Saint John in 1946 to the late Gordon A. Sr. and Hazel (London) Laskey.
Gordon was a Stevedore/ Shipliner with the Port of Saint John and a member of the ILA for 27 years. He loved to fish and hunt, was an avid Hockey fan, a Sea Dogs follower and season ticket holder from the beginning. Gordon was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Tina M. (Wilcox) Laskey, brother Blaine (Dianne) four children, Carolyn (Jason), Tommy (Teesha), Marilyn (Kevin), Clint (Laskey-Baker), and several grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Gordon was predeceased by his parents, sisters, Carolyn, and Deedee (Grenville) Ingraham.
Castle funeral home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B.(634 1701) have been entrusted with the arrangements. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill ext. Cemetery with Rev. Gordon Leary officiating.
