It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ronald Joseph Thomey on March 27th, 2016 at age 92 in RockyView Hospital in Calgary.

Born on October 15, 1923 in Harbour Grace, NL, Ron was the son of the late Mary (nee Coady) and Arthur Thomey of Harbour Grace, NL.

He leaves to mourn his wife of 67 years, Bride (nee Dawe of Kelligrews, Conception Bay South NL) along with two daughters - Susan [Allan] Petrella of Calgary and Brigid [Fred] Louvet of Paris, France, three sons - Ron [Catherine] Thomey of Maple Ridge, BC, Christopher Thomey of Duncan, BC and Peter [Valda] Thomey of Gibbons, AB along with eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
