Stephens, Norman Alton
The passing of Norman Alton Stephens of Fredericton, NB occurred on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Shannex Parkland. Norman was the beloved husband of the late Joan (Brittany) Stephens. Born on June, 16, 1934 in Devon, NB, he was the son of the late Frank and Hazel (Hanson) Stephens. Norman was predeceased by his brother, Gerald. Norman was a car salesman in Fredericton for 38 years.
Norman is survived by three sons, John Stephens (Lynn Levesque), Gerald Stephens (Michelle Tardiff) both of Ottawa, ON and Peter Stephens (Heather Bradley-Grant) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Stephens of Ottawa, ON and Haley and Cody Grant of Fredericton, NB; cousin, Marjorie Butler-Gray.
There will be no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 2 pm with Rev. J.D. Kennedy officiating. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or a charity of the donor’s choice.
