G. Calvin Grant

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Regina General Hospital on March 14, 2016. He was predeceased by his parents William Grant, Marion Grant and brother Bill Fraser. Calvin is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Eileen Grant; children Shawn Grant (Hilary), Carrie Schapansky (Craig); 3 grandsons Cody, Carter and Carson; his 2 sisters Gerry Reid, June Wylie (Arn); brothers and sisters-in-law Gordon Carey (Cheryl), Cliff Carey (May), and several nieces, nephews and cousins. By trade Calvin was journeyman Carpenter. He had worked for Frontier Construction and Frontier Builders. Cal was a hard working man who loved his family. He loved to camp, fish, and travel. Cal was a competitive man. He enjoyed many sports. He loved watching football, golf, hockey, baseball and curling. But above all he enjoyed watching and cheering on his children and grandchildren. He was very proud of all of them. Cal will always be loved…never forgotten…and forever missed. There will be a Graveside memorial and a celebration of Calvin’s life announced at a later date.
