FINNEY, Betty Elaine
It is with sad hearts that the family of Betty Elaine Finney (nee Hughes) announce her passing on April 5, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB at the age of 82.
The loving and cherished wife and best friend of Harvey Finney for 63 years, Betty was born August 31, 1933 in Bowmanville, Ontario. She was the daughter of the late Idris (Bud) and Edith Hughes. Betty was a wonderful mother to her children: David (Carla) of Calgary, AB, Mark of Newmarket, NB, Deborah (Debbie) Graye (late Matthew) of St. Pierre-Jolys, MB, John (Roxann), Newmarket, NB. She was especially proud of her grandchildren: Scot, Brent and Tyler Finney; Glendon, Colin, Lindsay (Morris) and Katelyn Graye; and Hannah and Emma Finney. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Kingsley and North Finney and Claira Morris.
Betty is also survived by her brother John (Jack) Hughes (Marg), Marie Leaman (Robert), several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her sister Carol Tapscott.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 1045 St. Mary's Street, Fredericton, NB at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2016, Claude Gilks officiating.
