CARR, KENNETH RALPH
It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth Carr announces his death at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on April 9th, 2016 at the age of 86. He was the son of the late Commodore and Marjorie (nee Murray) Carr and husband to the late Marjorie (nee Greer) Carr.
Kenneth is survived by his sons, Randy (Wendy) Carr of Geary, NB, Steven (Avis) Carr of Geary, NB, Victor (Sally) Carr of Geary, NB, Kenny (Jackie) Carr of Geary, NB, and Troy (Carmen) Carr of Tracy, NB; daughters, Dayle (Wayne) Martin of Geary, NB, Tammy (Danny) Simmonds of Calgary, AB, and Sherry (Larry) Jackson of Ontario and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parent; his wife, Marjorie; his siblings Earl Carr, Vivian Porter, Woodrow Carr and Vera Blakney and his nephews, David Carr, Richard Carr, Murray Carr, Ronald Robichaud and Eddie Robichaud
Ken began his career at Paul Carr's Fina in Geary, then became Shop Supervisor of the Oromocto Bus Garage. Ken enjoyed being around his family and friends, having a great time with all of them either quading or hanging out at the camp.
Visitation will be held at Geary United Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, April 12th, 2016 from 6 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday April 13th, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Mark Noel will officiate. Interment will be in the Spurden Carr Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Oromocto SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
