ELLIOT LAKE, ONT. - Longe, Gail Meredith – It is with sorrow that the family announces the passing of Gail Longe on April 1, 2016 in Elliot Lake, ON.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Donald Longe and children Danny (Suzanne) of Elliot Lake, Donald “Babe” of Timmins, Jody (Dawn) of Elliot Lake and Amanda Michie (Lonny) of Timmins. Dear grandmother to Derek, Hannah, Dawn, Ayrton and Alexander. Also survived by her siblings, Diane (late Bob), Beverley (Giorgio), Frank (Shirley), Peter (Sharon), Aubrey (Jackie), Marlene (Danny), Danny (Faye), Polly (Clark), Vicky (Sheridan), Jeff (Paula), Jason (Pauline) and Tracy (Mark). Loving aunt to numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Friends were received at the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel & Cremation Centre (36 Ontario Avenue) on Tuesday evening. A service in memory of Gail took place on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 2:00 pm from Our Lady Of Fatima Parish.
Memorial contributions to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation in Elliot Lake would be appreciated by the family.
