GILKS, GORDON W.
The passing of Gordon Wilbert Gilks of French Lake, NB and formerly of Maugerville occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the age of 75. Born at Blissfield, NB, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Mary (Cowie) Gilks.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Joan A. (Keetch) Gilks, a son Gordie and a daughter Lynn.
Gordon is survived his daughter, Kim (Lyndon) Howe of French Lake; grandchildren, Paige, Sheldon, Krista and Rodney;
great- grandchildren, Samuel and Sara; a sister, Betty (Ray) Desrochers of Franklin, NH and a brother George of Fauquier, BC; nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation by request and interment will be private.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
