Hilda Farrell (nee Muttart) passed away peacefully at Northridge Long Term Care facility in Oakville, Ontario, at age 94 on Friday April 1, 2016, with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred George. Survived by her children Douglas (Judi), Elizabeth (Arnold) and Michael, her granddaughters Mikaylla and Marissa, step-granddaughter Melissa (Daan) and step-great-grandsons Nathan and Alex. Loving sister to Doris (deceased), Helen, Elsie (deceased), Freda and John (deceased). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Hilda was born in Albany, PEI, and has returned to her beloved Island. She and Dad are now square-dancing together again. Visitation at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, on Monday, April 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at John the Baptist Church, Miscouche, on Tuesday, April 19, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of your choice may be made.
