The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, April 21, 2016, of Julie Ann Jackson (nee Perry) of Summerside, aged 57 years. Julie was born in New Market, ON., daughter of Joseph and the late Beatrice (nee MacDonald) Perry. Loving mother of Stephanie (Ryan) Mendes and Ryan Jackson. Also lovingly remembered by her special little granddaughter Anna Mendes. Survived by her brothers Roland and Blair, sister Elsie (Peter) O’Gorman and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides her mother, Julie was predeceased by her brothers Alan (in infancy) and John. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Tuesday, April 26, from where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Memorial donations in Julie’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Wounded Warriors Canada would be greatly appreciated.
