VRIEZEN, JACQUELINE IRENE
It is with much sorrow that we announce the death of Jacqueline Vriezen, 25 April, 2016, peacefully at home in Saint John, NB. Born in 1929, on Campobello Island, a daughter of the late Archie and Mazie Matthews.
She moved to graduate from Modern Business College in Saint John where she met the love of her life. Jackie had been employed with Canada Revenue Agency, NB Tel., and the Provincial District School Board. She owned and operated a gift shop and enjoyed meeting people from all over North America. She was a gifted artist.
She is survived by her son; Chris (Alexis), daughter Karen, and grandson Alex (Emily).
Jackie was predeceased by her husband Dick, brothers; Weston, Lester and one sister Pearl.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A family graveside internment will be held on Campobello Island at a date to be later announced.
