It is with great sadness that the family of the late June Fay Stone announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the age of 84 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her life partner Arthur Drover; brother Jack Stuckless; sons: Roy (Shirley), William (Veronica), Doug (Lorraine) and Benjamin (Jennifer); daughters: Shirley (Donald) Strickland, Mary (Leander) Coates, Linda (Leslie) Butt, June (Robert) Woods, Dorothy (Byron) Batt, Gail and Terrie; daughters-in-law: Christine and Elizabeth; 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents John and Dorothy Stuckless; husband Benjamin Roy; brothers: Allan, William, Doug and Ernest (Mickey); sisters: Georgina, Gertrude and Shirley; sister-in-law Maria (Rita); son James; daughter-in-law Helen; great-grandsons: Benjamin Michael Stone and Dallen Rodney Batt. In keeping with June's wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, with Major Raymond Janes officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
