The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 of Jennie Irene McCarville (nee MacEachern) of Summerside, aged 91 years.
Jennie was born in Charlottetown, P.E.I. to her late parents, Daniel and Jennie (nee Cummiskey) MacEachern.
Beloved wife of the late Allan “Bud” McCarville and loving mother of Allan (Marlene) of Ottawa, ON, Mary Letourneau of Summerside and Linda (Peter) Coxworthy of Halifax, N.S. Also lovingly remembered by her 4 grandchildren, Krista (Letourneau) Boyce, Andra (Letourneau) Peters, Mary Ella McCarville and Adam Coxworthy; her 1 great-granddaughter, Isabella Boyce; and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister, Mary Larter and her brother, Daniel (Betty) MacEachern, all of Charlottetown.
Besides her parents and husband, Jennie was predeceased by her sister, Bella (Gerald) Murphy, her son-in-law, Peter Letourneau and her brother-in-law, Daniel Larter.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, May 9, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations in Jenny’s memory to the P.E.I. Kidney Foundation or to St. Paul’s Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
