Stokes, Nelson William – entered into rest peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, May 12th at the Ross Memorial Hospital in his 79th year. Nelson was the beloved husband to Bernice for 60 years. Nelson was the loving father to Holly (Claude) Blacksky, Gordon (Debbie) Stokes and Donna Stokes. He was the dear grandfather to Tanya, Amber, Matthew, Lisa, Joshua and Jessica and great grandfather to Brittney, Madison, Mitchell, Megan, Mackenzie, Anna, George, Matthew, Layne and Eoin. A visitation will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Sunday, May 15 from 10:30 until time of Service at 12:30. Interment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery and reception to follow at the Cambridge Street Baptist Church, Lindsay.
