Fillmore, Brian Gerald, age 69, of Halifax, passed away January 20, 2016 in Halifax. Born October 15, 1946 in London ON, he was the son of the late Major D. H. and Rhea (Ernst) Fillmore. Brian was a former councilor for the District #7, Municipality of Shelburne. Brian worked at a variety of different sales positions over the years. He was also a personal caseworker at Harbor View Manor, Lunenburg and Roseway Manor, Shelburne: and also a paramedic ambulance driver at Roseway Hospital. He is survived by his daughter Kimberley Fillmore; two grandsons, Simon and Nigel; and his brother Grant (Elizabeth). Cremation has taken place under the direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home. There will be a private family interment at Pine Grove Cemetery on May 30th, Rev. Beverley Burlock officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Roseway Hospital, Shelburne, N.S.
