It is with great sadness that the family of Arnold (Arnie) Easton announces his passing in Moncton on Tuesday, May 24th, 2016 at the age of 87 years.
Arnold will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Tina (Gaudet); his children, Grant (Debbie), Heather and John and their families. He was predeceased by his son, Brian; father, John (Jack); mother, Irene (Trowsdale); sister, Phyllis (Newman); brother-in-law, Stanley.
Born on December 11th, 1928 in Charlottetown, P.E.I., Arnold was raised on the family farm in Hampshire, PEI, until he joined the R.C.A.F. He served his country for the next 39 years with postings in Canada, France and Pakistan. He proudly rose to rank of Warrant Officer. Arnold was a member of Mount Royal United Church, Air Force Association of Canada, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 and Air Force Veterans Club.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Moncton Legion Branch #6 Memorial Service at Fergusons Funeral Home on Friday at 4:00 pm. A Service to celebrate Arnold’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1:30 pm. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
