Bill George MARCH August 16, 1947 – May 23, 2016 Bill passed away at the Victoria Hospital on Monday, May 23, 2016. He was born in Melfort on August 16, 1947. Bill spent his life living in the communities of Gronlid, Melfort and Prince Albert. Bill was very active in his community volunteering countless hours of time coaching sports, in his church communities and always willing to lend a hand wherever necessary. He retired from service to the RCMP in 2005. Bill will be remembered as kind and selfless, making every decision based on the well being of his family. Bill is survived by his wife Shirley; his son Kevin and granddaughter Katlynn; his daughter Karen; his son Trevor and grandchildren Halle and Cameron; his brother John; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Mike and Anne March; his sister Iris Ede and her husband Darryll and his sister-in-law Donna. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Dennis Serfas officiating. Interment will be held at the RCMP Depot in Regina, SK. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9.
