It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Ron Aylward of Marystown announces his passing at the Trillium Hospital in Mississauga, ON, on Friday, May 27th, 2016, at the age of 68. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife Dorothy of 44 years; son Danny (Amy) Aylward of Marystown; daughters Rhonda (Gilberto) Florez of Madrid, Spain, and Rhoda (Frederico) Marques of Toronto, ON; five grandchildren Jessica, Carson, Sofia, Clara and Chloe; two step-grandchildren Maria Luisa and Mariana; sisters Barbara Aylward, Peg (Stephen) Healey, Patricia Kieley, Gwen Maguire, Judy (John) Gorich, Madelyn (Bill) Kelly and Joan (Willis) Upshall; brother Gordon Aylward; sister-in-law Gail Aylward; and a large circle of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Maude Aylward; granddaughter Gabriela Marques; brother Brian Aylward; and his two loving companions Canso and Benji. Ron was a dedicated family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren. He adored his family and was a pillar of strength for those who loved him. From his children ... The Aylward Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman's Funeral Homes in Marystown on Wednesday, June 1st from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Thursday, June 2nd, 2016 at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow.
