GAGNON, DANIEL "DANNY"
1960 – 2016
Danny Gagnon, 55, of Moncton, passed away tragically on Sunday, June 5th, 2016 in Moncton.Born in Hauterive, QC, he was the son of Mona (née: Thibodeau) and the late Wallace Gagnon. His sudden passing leaves behind family and friends that adored him and appreciated his enormous heart. He will be remembered as a man who loved life and everyone around him.

He was an extraordinary husband, father and grandfather. Loyal and always there to offer a helping hand; he never hesitated to provide his skills as a carpenter, a mechanic or a handyman. A Bell Aliant employee for over 30 years, Danny was well known and appreciated among his colleagues. He was planning to retire in January 2017 to spend time with his grandchildren, to travel and also to spend time in his woodworking shop.

Besides his mother Mona Gagnon of Dieppe, he is survived by his wife, Micheline (née: Arsenault); two daughters: Stephanie (Martin) Power of Dieppe and Melissa Gagnon (Michel Léger) of Gatineau, QC; one sister, Sonya (Jeff) Schnare of Riverside–Albert, NB; three grandchildren whom he loved unconditionally: Luca, Maxime and Mariève; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857–1901) on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm ONLY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Saint–Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe on Friday, June 10th, 2016 at 11 am. Interment in St. Anselme Parish Cemetery.
