Winston Bartlett

BARTLETT, WINSTON DELMER
The passing of Winston Delmer Bartlett of Stanley, NB, husband of Roberta (Fullarton) Foreman occurred on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 6, 1943 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Alvin and Bertha (Cornish) Bartlett.

Winston was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. He was a past member of the Upper Nashwaak Lions Club. Winston enjoyed driving the woods roads during hunting season, cooking for hunters along the roadside and providing the occasional cold beverage. Winston also enjoyed canoeing.

In addition to his wife, Winston is survived by his sons, Barry Bartlett (Sheila) of Stanley, NB and Tony Bartlett (Tammy) of Fredericton, NB; step sons, Vance Foreman (Roxann) and Philip McGeehan (Mary–Lou) both of Maple Grove, NB; grandchildren, Blair, Abby, Chase, Ashtyn, Haley, Katelyn, Lauren, Kristin, Vance Jr. and Owen; sister, Bonnie Hurley (Richard Stainforth) of Hanwell, NB; brother, Melvin Bartlett (Gladys) of Stanley, NB; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Wayne Fullarton, Allen Hunter, Neil Fullarton and Kip Fullarton; his canine friend, Sophie Nicole Foreman Bartlett.

A Celebration of Winston’s Life will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 1 to 4 pm. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
