Margaret Fanjoy-Gould

Margaret Fanjoy-Gould

FANJOY-GOULD, MARGARET
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Margaret “Peggy” Fanjoy–Gould, which occurred on June 8, 2016 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born 1953 in Saint John, she was the daughter of Helen (Howe) and the late Charles Fanjoy.

Peggy loved nature and the outdoors and would often say “sunshine is nature’s laughter”. She loved spending time at home, tending to her gardens and property and making sure the birds were always fed. Peggy was devoted to her family and Peter’s biggest fan, cheering loudly from the sidelines while he played hockey and as he coached North End Little League.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Peter Gould; son Michael (Brenda) of Saint John; brother George (Linda) Fanjoy of Saint John; sisters Marlene (Wayne) Bouchie, Sherry (Jim) Day, Mary Fawcett, Deborah Fanjoy all of Saint John and Susan (David) Desilva of Elk Point, AB; one grandchild, who was her pride and joy, Shaelynn Marie; several nieces and nephews, also her extended family; Catherine (Fred) Brown, David (Linda) Gould, and William (Linda) Gould.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646–2424). A Celebration of Peggy’s Life will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 11am.

For those who wish donations may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
