Constance Ann (Chisholm) Weinberg

Weinberg, Constance Ann, Auburn, NS

WEINBERG, Constance Ann (Chisholm), Auburn, Born January 27, 1956 in Old Barns. I attended Cobequid Educational Centre in Truro, followed by the Nova Scotia Teachers College, Truro. I had a wonderful 35 year teaching career in Kingston, NS. I married my best friend and love of my life, Michael Weinberg, of Auburn. Along with my wonderful teaching career, we raised two beautiful children, my hockey player, Ted, and my horse lover, Maria. I spent many winters in a freezing rink with Ted and many hot days at horse shows with Maria; loving every minute of both. I had a passion for 4-H with lots of childhood memories and was so glad to pass that on to my own children. I also enjoyed my Wednesday mornings volunteering at the Greenwood Military Aviation Museum. I enjoyed many summer evenings driving around in my 1969 Charger and jumped at the chance to drive some of my former students to their prom. July we would go on Frenchy trips to Yarmouth and back with my mom and some of my best friends where I enjoyed our laughter and fun. Also, there was nothing like my quiet times at home cuddling with our two cats, Bo and Luke. I am survived by my husband, Mike Weinberg, Auburn; son, Ted and Stef, New Brunswick; daughter Maria, Lion Tamer and Justin Beck, Auburn. My Mum and Dad, Don and Katheryn Chisholm, Old Barns; brother, Sandy and Cathie Chisholm, Kentville; sisters-in-law, Angie (John Bigney), Stewiacke; Frankie (Ted) Knowler, Dartmouth; Carol Weinberg and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother-in-law, Paul Weinberg. I want to thank Dr. Adam Clark and Fiona Peacock (Valley Regional); Dr. Karen Burch; Palliative Care Carey Me Unit and VON and my family doctor, Dr. John Drysdale for their care and support. Family Flowers only. By request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM, Saturday, June 18, 2016 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448 where a Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM Sunday, June 19, 2016. If you wish, donations may be made to VON, Harmony-Nicholsville 4-H or to Palliative Care. Online guest book may be signed by visiting: www.middletonfuneralhome.com
