COGSWELL, CALDER DREW
February 21, 1987 – June 17, 2016
It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the sudden passing of their cherished son “Calder” in Fredericton, NB on June 17, 2016. Born in Fredericton, NB on February 21, 1987, he was the only son of Linda and Rob Burton of Fredericton, NB.

He is leaving behind step–sisters, Melissa (Sean) Groulx of Kitchener, ON and Christa Burton of Ottawa, ON; paternal grandfather, Ralph Walsh of Fredericton, NB; step–grandmother, Fran Burton of Cornwall, ON; as well as birth father, Michael Cogswell of Fredericton, NB; several aunts, uncles, cousins, many, many friends including his canine friend, “Doug”.

In his short life he touched many – an amazing, talented person inside and out.

Calder was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Mabel (Tranquilla) and Austin Billings of Millville, NB; paternal grandparents, Fran (Dunbar) Walsh and Clair Cogswell of Fredericton, NB; as well as his uncles, Roger Billings of Burtts Corner, NB and Sheldon Billings of Fredericton, NB.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 1 to 2 pm followed directly by a Memorial Service in York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel at 2 pm with Rev. J.D. Kennedy officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.

Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
