CARON, JEAN PIERRE "J.P."
The passing of Jean Pierre Caron of Moncton, NB, husband to Shirley (Wheaton) Caron occurred on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Moncton City Hospital. Born on September 21, 1937 in Sainte–Anne–des–Monts, QC, son of the late Amie and Anne Marie (Levesque) Caron.

He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force for 10 years before moving to the private sector as an accountant.

Formerly married to Betty (Merritt) Caron; besides his wife, Shirley (Wheaton) Caron, he is survived by: One daughter, Nancy Caron of Scarborough, ON, one son, David (Kim) Caron of Milton, ON, one step–daughter, one grandson, Jack. Three step–grandchildren and three step–great–grandchildren, a number of brothers and sisters.

J.P.’s sense of humour and willingness to act on an opportunity for a practical joke was unparalleled. He enjoyed spending time with friends, trading stories and acting as PC support; if he wasn’t at home he could always be found at the nearest Timmies getting a fix.
