Kenneth "Ken" Merton Campbell

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth "Ken" Merton Campbell, age 96, of Westcock, NB. Ken passed away peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 14, 2016.
Born in Westcock, NB, he was a son of the late Seth and Minnie (Richardson) Campbell.
As a young man, Ken worked at Fawcett's Foundry, he went on to study carpentry and was a Member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners Union. Throughout his life he maintained a small farm and always loved keeping a team of horses.
He is dearly missed by his wife Maisie (Dawson) of Westcock; son; Chip and daughter-in-law Marla of Toronto, On; grandsons Alden and Everett; brother Ronald, Annapolis Valley, NS; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings Eleanor, Arnold, Minnie, Emma, Jemima, Edith, Louise, Horace, Spurdeon, Norma, Otis and Oscar.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours were held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service was held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 2 pm, from St. Ann's Anglican Church, British Settlement, Rev. Ranall Ingalls officiating. Burial followed in the Westcock Cemetery.
Those wishing to make a donation in Ken's memory may be made to Westcock Cemetery, or St. Ann's Anglican Church.
