WILSON, IRIS RUTH
It is with sadness the family of Iris Wilson announce her passing, which occurred on January 10, 2016, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Wickham, NB she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Nellie Upshall.

Iris was once a school bus driver, known for loving all the children. She owned Blue Flag Ceramics and Handcrafts and taught many to create wonderful art. She was a mentor and teacher to many friends and family. She never retired, making handworks and helping others until she could no longer manage.

Iris is survived by her sons Malcolm (Libby) and Kevin (Rose), both of Saint John; daughter Pamela (Gary) McKay of Wickham, brother George (Rita) Upshall of Lincoln, sisters May Jones of Saint John, Nellie (Bill) Nickerson of Moncton and Ada McNamara of Saint John. She is also survived by grandchildren Scott, Holly, Hilary, Mandi, Rachel, Becky, Jeremy, and Adam, as well as many cherished great–grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Cecil, Iris was predeceased by two sisters: Flora and Freda, and a brother, Arthur.

In keeping with Iris’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at St. Peters Church, 789 Route 705 Wickham, on July 8, 2016 at 2:00pm.

For those who wish, remembrances to St. James Church, Lakewood; St. Peter’s Church, Wickham or to the charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
