PARLEE, DIANE ELIZABETH
The death of Diane Parlee of Saint John, wife of the late George William “Bill” Parlee occurred on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on August 26, 1947 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Kathleen (Rankin) Little.

Diane took great pride in her time spent serving with the Royal Canadian Navy and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #2. Prior to her retirement, she worked as an LPN at Centracare; a career she truly loved and where many friendships were formed. Diane enjoyed playing cards and was always up for a good game of bingo. She will be sadly missed.

Diane is survived by her son, Scott William Parlee; brother, Fred Little (Paula) of Saint John; sisters, Mary Ann McCarthy, Patricia “Pat” Loeman and Sandra Little all of Saint John and Roberta Marie “Bobbie” McGrath (Joe) of Nova Scotia; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Diane was also predeceased by her brother, David McCarthy.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634–7424) with visiting on Sunday, July 3, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with a Legion Tribute Sunday at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Monday, July 4, 2016 at 12:00 Noon.
