The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 of John Haviland MacDougall of Charlottetown, age 79 years. Beloved husband of Barbara. Loving father of David “Hippie” (Dawne), Angel (Terry) Squires, Wayne (Joy), Mark (Leslie) and Sarah Jane (Scott) Robbins. Grampy to Erinn, Alison, Trevor, Kailee, Nickayla, Taylor, Molly and Christopher. Brother of Wayne (Barb) and Cindy (Bob) Judson. He will also be missed by his trusted canine companion Maggie Blue. Predeceased by his parents Alex and Alice (Boyce) MacDougall. Havie was a 40 year veteran of the Charlottetown Fire Department, where he served as an engineer. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Tuesday from Trinity United Church at 10 a.m. Interment in the Peoples Cemetery.
