BOUDREAU, M. IRENE
M. Irene Boudreau passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 1, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on August 28, 1930, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Long) Leonard.

Irene enjoyed sewing and bowling and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her sons, Michael (Helena), of Ontario; Thomas “Tom” (Kim), of Saint John; daughter Christine (Robert) Saunders, of Nauwigewauk; brother, Arthur (Anita) Leonard, of Lorneville; grandchildren Rhonda (Jeff), Jennifer (Tom), Scott, Timothy, Anthony (Karen), Chantelle (Brad) and Nathan (Candace); great grandchildren, Sebastien, Jacob, Madison, Julia, Bailey Ann and Ivy; several nieces and nephews and her beloved pet, Belle.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Boudreau; her son, Billy.

Although there will be no public visitation as per Irene’s request, relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated from St. Joachim’s Church on Monday, July 4, 2016 at 11:00 am.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634–7424). Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
