It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our sister and friend, Verna Noreen Nash, on Friday, July 22, at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Daniel J and Mary G (Madore) Krewenki.
She is survived by her son, Jason; brothers, Daniel, Bernie, Reggie, David and Roddie.
There is no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Curry’s Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay.
Verna passed away after a long battle with cancer. A special thank you to all the staff of 3rd South at the Glace Bay Hospital, staff at the cancer unit, Dr Cadegan and to Kirk and staff at Curry’s.
