MacAloney, E. Allison – Age 81, of New Prospect passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 at Gables Lodge, Amherst. Born in Diligent River, she was a daughter of the late Nelson and Patricia (Allen) Hughes. She is survived by daughters, Gladys Warren, Amherst; Irene Morris, New Salem; Sheila MacAloney, Amherst; Barbara MacAloney, Amherst; sons, Wilfred (Eva), Orangeville, Ont.; Daniel (Katrina), Parrsboro; Stanley (Dawn), Amherst; Steven, Cranbrook, B.C.; a sister, Eileen McAloney (Kenneth), Ward’s Brook; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James Richard MacAloney in 2002; a brother, Murray. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
