It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Christina Bailey, age 64, at home on August 16, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brantford, Ont. Christina is the daughter of the late Anna MacGillivary. She is survived by the love of her life and soul mate her husband, Clifton Bailey; sons, Jason, Trevor (Patty); daughter, Jennifer (David); sister, Kendra (Joe); brothers, Roland 'Tupper' (Wendy), Freddie (Dorothy) and Brent (Kathy), the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Addison, Dylan, Bailey, Victoria, Patrick and her fur grandbaby, Opie. Chrissy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and close friends whom she loved dearly and her in-laws, Bruna and James Bailey, David (Carol Ann) and Linda (George). Christina was predeceased by her dear friend Patsy MacNeil, her favorite Aunt Barbara and her loving nephew Clayton. Once you met Chrissy, you felt like you knew her for life, her heart was huge and she shared it with everyone. Her smile was infectious and could light up the darkest room.
She was a mom to many and her door was always open, whoever came through, they got the Chrissy treatment. She was previously employed with Sally Ann Bakery and the Sydney Airport. She was an avid Elvis fan, found joy spending her extra time bowling with her league and playing bingo. Mom's family was her whole life and she will be missed dearly by everyone. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Christina's life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the chapel at McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, with Deacon Leo Penny officiating.
