The death occurred peacefully at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I., on Monday August 22nd, 2016 of Jeanne D’Arc Kenny (nee Michaud) of Summerside, aged 94 years. Jeanne was born in Riviere du Loup, Quebec to her late parents Wilfred and Marie (nee Pouliot) Michaud. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Kenny and loving mother of Kevin, Shayne (Marina), Lucille (David) King, Joanne (Normand) Bissonette. Also lovingly remembered by her 6 grandchildren Jessie, Joshua, Martine (Michel), Marcel, David Jr. and Holly, 2 great grandchildren Benjamin and Justin and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Jeanne was predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. A private committal service will be held in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside at a later date. Memorial donations in Jeanne’s memory to the Summerside Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
