Dolorosa Margaret “Dolly” Langille age 95 of Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow formerly of Frederick St., New Glasgow passed away August 24, 2016 in the Manor.
Born in Stellarton she was a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Decoste) Mattie.
Dolly worked for a number of years at Stedmans, Zellers and MacLeod’s Drug Store. She also worked during the elections for many years for Elmer MacKay. She was a member of our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by daughters Katheryn (Bill) Knoll, New Glasgow; Heather (Ken) Spanks, Australia; son Burt (Trudy) Langille, Lourdes; 9 grandchildren Julie, Kristie, Hollie, Leanne, Nikki, Kris, Colleen, Cheryl, Kenneth and 9 great-grandchildren Taylor, Tessa, Morgan, Kaileigh, Carman, Jakob, Shannon, Drishti, Darsh; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Theodore “Ted” Langille, son John King Langille and by 17 brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 - 9 pm on Sunday, August 28th, in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. The family will also receive friend s from 9:30 -10:30 am on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with Father Barrett Clare-Johnson presiding. Burial will be in Abercrombie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.
