Passed peacefully away at the Waterford Hospital, on Monday, September 12, 2016 after a short illness with Alzheimer's at the age of 75. David was a long time employee of St. John's City Council. Predeceased by his son Randolph; parents Anne and Nathanial Lundrigan. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 57 years, Gladys; two daughters Jane Collins (John) and Jacqueline Thistle; three grandchildren Robert and Matthew Collins and Melissa Thistle; brother Hayward Lundrigan; two sisters Ruth Newman and Rose Smith; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. At David's request, cremation has taken place and no visitation will be held. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 10 am from Caul's Chapel with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
