Was taken from us too soon after a courageous battle with pneumonia on September 3, 2016 surrounded by her loving family and friends at the age of 35. Loving mother of Savannah and Tierin. Beloved daughter of Gloria Taylor and Brian Cameron. Dear sister of Jason, Courtney, Jessica and Shakira. Special aunt of Joshua. Loved granddaughter of Catherine & the late Idris “Diddy” Taylor and Charlotte & James “Babes” Cameron. She will be forever remembered and loved by her children’s dad, Elliott and her husband, Jermaine Newell. She will also be missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins and her near and dear friends. Tammy had a huge heart, a very kind soul and was very generous to anyone in need. She was always telling jokes and was the life of the party. Tammy was a defender to those who couldn’t defend themselves. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Patten’s Funeral Home (Union St., Glace Bay).
