Dianna Raelynn Richardson 60 of Truro, N.S. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dianna Raelynn Richardson on October 11, 2016 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre Truro.
Dianna was born in Truro on August 19, 1956. She was a beautiful and kind hearted lady who touched the lives of so many people.
Dianna is survived by her wonderful & dear husband Willard Richardson for the last 31 years and her fur baby’s Rusty and Tigger. Sisters Brenda Angers (Nelson), Debbie Higgins (Steve), Karen Pickles (Colin). Brothers Ricky Higgins (Elaine), Derrick Higgins (Carolyn) and Darren Higgins.
She looked after so many children in her life and was often found hanging out with her special/close friend and sister-in law Lisa Julian (Sonny). She volunteered at St. Mary Elementary School for many years. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews as well as her tea buddy Irene McNutt, Godchildren Santana Higgins and Michael Hansen.
Dianna was predeceased by her mother Thelma (McCarthy) Higgins.
There will be no service requested by the family but there will be a “Celebration of Dianne’s Life” will be held on Saturday October 22, 2016 @ the Truro Fire Hall 165 Victoria Street from 2 pm – 4pm.
Arrangements for Dianna have been entrusted to the care of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Colchester Branch of SPCA in Dianna’s memory.
