Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family and friends, on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at her home in St. Mary's, Frances Lee (nee Bonia), aged 97 years. Predeceased by husband, Owen, son Bryan, infant son and daughter Stephen and Francine, parents, John and Elizabeth Bonia; sisters: Kay (Marty), Madeline and Joan, brothers Bill and Joe, son-in-law Paul Bernard and brother-in-law Ed Purcell. Leaving to mourn her loving children: Betty Rae PBVM, Rosemarie (Jerome) Meaney, Annette (Cyril) Moriarity, Bertha Bernard, Roger (Linda), Owen (Jacqui), Billy (Donna), Agnes (Ambrose) Yetman, treasured daughter-in-law Juliette "Sis" Lee, 24 grandchildren, 28 greatgrandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, much loved sisters Sr. Elizabeth Bonia and Dorothy Purcell; sister-in-law Laura Bonia, brother-in-law Fred Dozois and their families, special caregiver Karen Butler; good friends: Frances Crawley, Bride Martin and Anastasia Yetman and many other relatives and friends. Resting at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's on Thursday, October 27, 2016 and Friday, October 28, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm (no visitation on Saturday). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's. Burial to follow at St. Mary's. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Good Shepherd Parish (St. Mary's) or to a charity of one's choice.
