PETER JOHN LABOUR
October 9th, 1943 ~ October 22nd, 2016


It is with great sadness that the family of the late PETER LABOUR of St. Bernard’s announces his passing at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016, at the age of 73. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife, Lillian of 47 years; sons, Peter (Holly) of Lewin’s Cove and Keith (Lynette) of Burin; daughter, Angie (Dean Vallis) of St. John’s; brother, Aloysius (Doris) Labour of Nova Scotia; 4 grandchildren: Rebecca Labour, Millie Vallis, Chloe Vallis & Peter John Labour III; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by daughter, Melvina (Millie) Labour; parents, John & Hannah Labour; brother, Gus (Lucy) Labour; parents-in-law, Cecil & Molly Whittle.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in St. Bernard’s, on Wednesday, October 26th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Bernard’s.

In Peter’s memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or flowers gratefully accepted.
