We, the family, regret to announce the passing of John Cecil Young of Sydney Mines on Monday, November 14, 2016 at home.
Born in Sydney Mines, he was the son of the late Janet (Smith) and Cecil Young. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his loving family and is predeceased by aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Thurs Nov 17 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, 10 Clyde Ave. Sydney Mines. Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Fri at 11 a.m. with Rev. Marion Barclay-MacKay officiating.
