The family of the late Thelma Horechuk would like to thank everyone for the love and support shown to us during the loss of our loved one. For all those who attended the visitations in Halifax and Sydney, you touched our hearts with your compassion and fond memories of Thelma. Thelma’s funeral service took place at St. Mary’s Parish, Frenchvale, November 17, 2016 under the direction of T.W. Curry’s Funeral Home in Sydney. We would like to thank Curry’s for their professionalism and guidance. A special thank you to Father Paul for his wonderful words of comfort, Father Dan MacInnis, Thelma’s uncle, and Father Roman for a beautiful funeral mass. Thank you, Donnie Campbell for touching our hearts with your music, and making it so personal by including Margaree, Thelma’s Happy Place, in one of your songs. Melissa, Ben and Colleen, thank you for the beautiful readings. To the Pallbearers, nephews Jeffrey, Steve, Daniel, Michael, Pat and Jake, Thelma would have been so proud of you. Thelma loved flowers and the family appreciated the lovely flowers sent to the funeral home, her own home, and hospital during her short illness. To the many people who provided delicious food, especially the Parish Community for the lovely lunch following the funeral service, we extend our thanks. Many coworkers and friends travelled this journey with Thelma, we extend our thanks to each and every one of you. To everyone who took the time to visit, call, send food, flowers, cards, make donations in Thelma’s memory, we are forever grateful. You made a difficult time a little easier. It is only the love of family and friends that have brought us through this difficult time.
